About us - Finally Production

Finally is a Slovak jazz-funk band formed in Bratislava, Slovakia, in 2002, founded by Eugen Botos (piano) - leader and composer of the band, Robert Vizvari (bass guitar), Martin Koleda (guitar). All of them are young passionate musicians with classical music university education, who were brought up on jazz, jazz funk and smooth jazz music.

Eugen Botos is a violinist of Slovak National Theatre. Due to his talent his compositions and interpretation were melted down into concessnes of Brian McKnight and Maysa Leak. Eugen composed a dreamy ballad for a Grammy nominated diva, Maysa Leak "Beautiful Dreamer" which was the opening track of her latest album titled Blue Velvet Soul. Martin Koleda studied the guitar and he´s been working with Eugene for almost 12 years. He mostly looked up to guitar players like Scott Henderson, John Scofield, Allan Holdsworth or Bireli Lagrene but he doesn't forget his rock roots and playing with Finally gives him the possibility to satisfy his jazz-rock fusion needs. Finally bassist Robert Vizvari is a star in his own right as well. The first double bass player in the Slovak Philharmonic symphony orchestra, he is renowned by the global jazz community and counts Marcus Miller, Melvin Davis, Victor Wooten and Alain Caron among his fans.

Finally and their music can be definitely seen as a new fresh and innovating energy in the jazz genre. Their subsequent album My Space featured performances by Eric Marienthal, Otmaro Ruiz, Alain Caron, Janek Gwizdala, Harri Stojka, Peter Horvath and others.

The song Manhattan from the same album became very famous in American and Japanese smooth-jazz and jazz radio stations. In 2011, Finally toured Slovakia with Gary Bias, and in 2012, they toured again with Eric Marienthal (and drummer Eric Valentine) throughout Central Europe. They also performed at the Spring Bratislava Jazz Days Festival (SK) with Marcus Miller and their idols Level 42.
